Asian Rowing Federation Established in 1982
has 32 member federations and holds 2011
Hwacheon Asian Sr. & Jr Rowing Championships,
Asian Cup, Asian Indoor Rowing Championships
and rowing events of Asian Games.

In addition, Mr. Jong-Chul Lee, the KRA president
was elected as the President of Asian Rowing Federation
at 2010 Asian Rowing Federation's Ordinary Congress
in Guangzhou, China.

Especially the fact that Korea hosts major international rowing events,
World Rowing Championships and Asian Games,
lifts up the president of Korean rowing and
will make contribution to development of rowing in Asia.
