WWF & ARF With use comes responsibility. The rowing community plays an important role in the responsible and sustainable managementof the natural and physical resources especially those which are necessary for rowing. Rowing has an intimate and intense relationship with the body of water it is practiced on. Protecting waterresource is vitally important to rowing. Rowing is not only about competition, physical strength and teamwork, but also about the harmony between human and nature. WWF and ARF signed an agreement to form a strategic alliance in Shanghai, China on March 15th, 2015. The alliance intendsto promote water sports and sustainable water resource protection and management by establishing innovative Sport Conservation partnership. It is the first co-operation between well-known international environmental organization and Asiansport organization.
