The Asian Rowing Federation (ARF) as a regional organization for the promotion of
the sport of rowing and the standard of rowing in Asia has developed in many aspects
since its foundation in 1982.
Maintaining the tradition of solidarity and cooperation among members,
the ARF now finds itself at an important turning point, ready to make a
leap forward to the future. Balanced development of rowing in all member
countries, at all levels, and in every type of event is the only way to
ensure meaningful progress in the sport of rowing in Asia.
I believe active participation and open communication among the members
is the most crucial means of laying the foundation for any further
development and progress.
This website aspires to be a platform for free, open and effective communication
and to promote solidarity among the members. The interchange of ideas, opinions,
and information on this website will lead to more participation and eventually a great
leap forward to an even brighter and more promising future.
